Case A
A patient with two broken fixtures in the mandible needs to insert two new fixtures in the same region. Using CT, Simplant® software and surgical guides we program the implants without remove the broken fixtures. This solution was the only possible because the position of the broken fixtures were very adjacent the lingual cortical bone and hardly integrated. So it was very dangerous to remove this fixtures with the risk to lose an important quantity of bone.
Case B
A patient with a post-estractive big bone damage in region 13 and 23 needs a mesh reconstruction with alloplastic material. The standard mesh was prepared using a 3D model realized from TC dataset with a ZCorp® printer. Using a 3D model the meshes were more qualifies and we reduce the surgical times with less tissue pain. In future we think the meshes will be designed with CAD-CAM technology with more precision and a low cost.
