The best abstracts will be selected for oral communication. The CAI Academy has decided to help young and talented authors to present their latest research by providing them travel grants. General Rules
Deadline for abstract submission: postponed to September the 15th 2010.
The scientific production of researchers, specialists and post-graduation students will officially integrate the 5th International Computer Aided Implantology Academy Congress in N.Y.C. Register your Scientific Poster and participate of the selection of the best scientific poster in the several areas of CAD CAM Dental Technology and Computer Guided Oral Implantology.
Exhibit:
The exhibition period of the poster will be defined by the Organizing Committee and informed to the authors upon their confirmation..
Posting:
The poster must be posted with double-face adhesive tape. Posting posters with banner structures (frame and string) will not be allowed and the installation will obey the order established by the Organizing Committee.
Presentation:
The presentators must make themselves available to the participants and the Organizing Committee for 30 minutes per day.
Evaluation:
The evaluation will be made by the Organizing Committee on previously scheduled day and time. The presentator's presence will not be required.
Disqualified:
Works that do not follow the general rules will be automatically disqualified.
Dimensions:
0,90 m (width) x 1,50 m (height). The posters must have 1 (one) author (presentator) and 5 (five) co-authors (maximum).
The inscription of the author (presentator) to the 5th International Computer Aided Implantology Academy Congress is mandatory.
1. Acceptance of the works inscripted requires the presence of the presentator at the event during the period attributed to him/her.
2. The Abstracts will be published in the Official Program and in the
Congress Proceedings which will be distributed to the participants, hence
the importance of abiding to the delivery dead-line as well as to the
presentation guide lines.
3. The PRESENTATOR and CO-AUTHORS, do hereby authorize the publication of
the summary of the work for purposes of physical and electronic publication,
both nationally and internationally, and relinquish any rights over
copyrights and/or use of image.
4. The CERTIFICATES shall be retrieved at the secretary of the event. For
each work presented, an individual certificate will be awarded, with the
author's name and those of the respective co-authors.
5. CANCELLATIONS must be requested in written to the Organizing Committee
until October/15/2010.
6. 5th International Computer Aided Implantology Academy Congress
will not be held responsible for the content of the Scientific Poster
presented, nor for any expenses resulting from the manufacture, installation,
transportation, accommodation, alimentation of the authors, or their
inscriptions in the event.
7. 5th International Computer Aided Implantology Academy Congress
will not be held responsible for any sort of damage or loss of material or
equipments employed in the presentation of the works.
8. Absolutely no kind of advertisement or publicity will be allowed during
the poster presentation, such as commercial promotions of any nature; the
lack of compliance will imply in the removal of the work from the area of
the event.
